DTE readies new charging stations

  DTE Energy is planning this week  to unveil plans for additional Plug-In Electric Vehicle Public Charging Stations around Detroit by installing four Plug-in Electric Vehicle  public charging stations at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport.
 The four public charging at the airport will be part of a program to install 16 PEV public charging stations throughout its Southeastern Michigan service area, DTE officials said.
 The new public charging stations will be  located on the fourth level of the   Big BlueDeck, whic sits in the center of Detroit Metropolitan Airport between.
 DTE Energy has been working with General Motors and a U.S. Department of Energy grant to find the appropriate sites for the i16 PEV public charging stations in its Southeastern Michigan service area.
  The program is intended to accelerate the transition to electric vehicles in the U.S. by deploying vehicles and installing charging infrastructure, DTE officials said. by Joseph Szczesny
