Lutz makes another comeback with GM

 General Motors is bringing back former vice chairman
Robert Lutz to serve as an adviser to the company’s senior management team, GM
said Friday. The agreement will formalize Lutz’s role at GM. Lutz had been
acting as an informal adviser ever since his official retirement in 2010.Lutz
will be available to executives on a part-time consultancy basis effective immediately.
He brings a wealth of experience built over the course of more than 40 years in
the industry, including two stints at GM. He has also been a senior executive
at Ford, Chrysler, BMW and was CEO of Exide Batteries,” GM said in a statement,
Lutz is expected to provide advice both on strategic and prduct-related issues,
